Immigration sentiments and effects: Riverdale, New Jersey

Before starting, I want to recognize that immigration reform is not a strictly latino issue, as much as it sometimes gets painted that way. Reforms will effect immigrants that work in every field, and from every country.

That said, Brad Linder did an interesting news article (mp3, RealPlayer, in English) for Friday’s edition of the Latino USA radio program, looking at current immigration laws, some of their effects on the local population (latino and non-latino), and public sentiment in Riverdale, New Jersey.
